From PA to CA - 02-27-2008, 01:08 PM

I would like to share with you all that I am a CA (Chopper Challenge Addict)

This problem has started quite recently, and has been affecting me considerably for the last four hours.

I dont know what to do, or how to help myself.

I have tried distracting myself with snakes and aliens, but alas, it is Choppers that just seem to keep me on edge.

If anyone out there can offer some advice, please let me know.

Hi FM,
I'm similarly affected, but in my case it's TA that does it. Choppers won't work at all on my computer, so it's Tetris, even when it crashes before loading my 100K+ high score, that can keep me isolated for hours.
Actually, I'm semi glad that Admin hasn't thought to add Boggle or suchlike to the games list - if that was there I may never venture into the real world again.
So I don't really have any advice for kicking the CA habit...though perhaps Inshi could, if not similarly affected, come and pull the plug on your computer after a couple of hours' playing?
Just a thought...
Perhaps we should start an AA (Arcade Addicts) section?

Hehe, I suspect no one's invented any sort of help group for Chopper or Tetris Addicts yet...so hopefully that means any addiction on these lines is manageable...hopefully At least with a young child in the house I know I will NOT be able to be on the computer for too long at a time (phew!).
Boggle, however - yes, I could see my free time disappearing into a haze of falling blocks and random letter groupings! (Admin, please, please, please put Boggle on if you can find it - I'm happy to live with my AAs for now!! )
And as for Pacman...haven't played that in years, oooh yes please let's have that, too!
